My First Post of 2013

Why does Sultan Kiram II fight with spiritual weapons that are as obdurate as they are sadistic? Anger? Fear? Stupidity? Some deep raucous urging of his soul? The answer cannot easily be found, but the portents indicate that, sooner or later, he will offer hatred with a pseudo-intellectual gloss. I'm sure that everyone reading this is already familiar with his lackluster campaigns of malice and malignity so I'll spare you the sordid details. Instead, I'll simply summarize with the comment that I was absolutely gobsmacked the first time I saw Kiram preaching a propaganda of hate. Since then, I've seen him do that so many times that I hardly bat an eyelid when someone tells me that Kiram really believes that he is known for his sound judgment, unerring foresight, and sagacious adaptation of means to ends. Unfortunately for him, that's all in his imagination. Kiram needs to get out of that fictional world and get back to reality, where people can see that society must soon decide either to pronounce the truth and renounce the lies or else to let Kiram rescue etatism from the rubbish heap of history, dust it off, slap on a coat of cheap sophistry, and market it as new and improved. The decision is one of life or death, peaceful existence or perpetual social fever. I can hope only that those in charge realize that Kiram has been working overtime to subject human beings to indignities. 

Kiram appears to have found a new tool to use to help him introduce disease, ignorance, squalor, idleness, and want into affluent neighborhoods. That tool is jujuism, and if you watch him wield it you'll decidedly see why his favorite activities all involve taking advantage of human fallibility to reduce human beings and many other living organisms to engineered products and mere cogs in the social machine. Sadly, this shameful impiety has prevailed with the populace, the canaille, the vulgar. It appeals to intolerant sybarites and prevents them from seeing that if Kiram manages to spheterize other people's belongings, our nation will not endure as a civilization, as a geopolitical entity, or even as a society. Rather, it will exist only as a prison, a prison in which wayward blockheads abet a resurgence of incomprehensible vandalism.
Kiram looks down upon the rest of us. From his perspective, we are blind so he must tell us what to see; we are deaf so he must tell us what to hear; and we are mute so he must tell us what to say. Such views may fool irascible, sordid racketeers, but I profess that for the nonce, Kiram is content to break down traditional values. But as soon as our backs are turned, he will generate alienation and withdrawal.
If you intend to challenge someone's assertions, you need to present a counterargument. Kiram provides none. He thinks that we ought to worship the worst types of blathering practitioners of elitism there are as folk heroes. Of course, thinking so doesn't make it so.
Having studied Kiram's charges and finding them groundless, I, for one, must now tell the world that I recently heard him tell a bunch of people that granting him complete control over our lives is as important as breathing air. I can't adequately describe my first reaction to this notion; I simply don't know how to represent uncontrollable laughter in text. Kiram's reasoning is circular and therefore invalid. In other words, he always begins an argument with his conclusion (e.g., that public opinion is a reliable indicator of what's true and what isn't) and therefore—not surprisingly—he always arrives at that very conclusion. Sure, Kiram may have a right to sanctify his depravity but we certainly don't have to stand idly by while he exercises that right. I have taken the liberty of letting him know that if we briefly prescind from the main point of this letter we can focus on how there's a chance that Kiram will make a big deal out of nothing quicker than you can double-check the spelling of "microcrystallography". Well, that's extremely speculative, but it is clear today that by comparing today to even ten years ago and projecting the course we're on, I'd say we're in for an even more peevish, impractical, and inhumane society, all thanks to Kiram's strictures. After having read this, you may think that biased reporting and blatant disregard for the truth are hardly limited to highly visible media outlets. Nevertheless, you should always remember that in a lustrum or two, Sultan Kiram II's overgeneralizations will vandalize our neighborhoods.
